Astellia 2 Opens Pre-Registration on Google Play, ONE Store

NEXUS and Lepor Games opened pre-registration for Astellia 2 on mobile and PC, with guaranteed rewards and a global version featuring AtraX tokens.

NEXUS opened pre-registration for Astellia 2 on October 22, a mobile and PC MMORPG developed by Lepor Games and published in partnership with the South Korean company. Sign-ups are live on ONE Store, the country's app marketplace, and on Google Play, with rewards for every participant and extra bonuses unlocked as the number of registrations grows. The game continues the universe of the 2018 PC MMORPG Astellia and will run in two versions: a domestic one for the Korean market and a global one that includes blockchain features and a token-based economy. No release date has been announced — the official website only mentions a "grand opening".
The publisher confirmed the news in a statement carried by Korean trade press and by Inven Global. The announcement lands while NEXUS reorganizes its business: the company turned ONE Store into a wholly owned subsidiary in September and is now using its own title as a showcase for a model that blends game distribution, payments and on-chain infrastructure.
How the Astellia 2 pre-registration works
Players can sign up through ONE Store or Google Play, where the store page is already live with an 18+ age rating and a warning about in-app purchases, including random items. The App Store listing appears as "coming soon", with no date. On the official website, the campaign has been open since October 8 and runs "until the grand opening", according to the developer's own copy.
Everyone who registers receives a fixed package of progression items. There are four guaranteed rewards, all bound to the account:
| Pre-registration reward | Amount | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Superior Growth Scroll | 10 | Speeds up character development |
| Combat Awakening Scroll | 10 | Combat-related evolution items |
| Standard Astel Summon x11 | 1 pack | Eleven summons for Astels, the battle companions |
| Standard Avatar Summon x11 | 1 pack | Eleven summons for cosmetic avatars |
Beyond the basic package, Lepor Games set up a collective event with five milestones. The logic is simple: the more people sign up, the more items everyone gets. The final tier is the most valuable because it guarantees a specific Astel, Papilla, instead of a summon left to chance.
| Registration milestone | Reward unlocked |
|---|---|
| 100,000 | 1,000,000 gold |
| 200,000 | 30 Seven Star Fragments |
| 400,000 | 100 Astra |
| 800,000 | Class Selection Avatar Summon Ticket |
| 1 million | Guaranteed Astel "Papilla" Summon Ticket |
It is worth noting what the pre-registration does not include: there is no early access, no closed test and no release date tied to signing up. The benefit is purely material and will be credited to the account when the servers open.
Six classes, Astels and two boss modes
Astellia 2 keeps the structure that defined the original: the player picks a class and travels the world alongside Astels, summonable creatures that work as combat companions and can be collected. The official site lists six classes — Knight, Berserker, Assassin, Archer, Scholar and Mage — each with a distinct role in a party. The Knight, for instance, is described as the front line wielding a longsword and shield, with stun skills to control the battlefield.
The main technical promise is cross-platform play. According to the statement, players can switch between phone and PC and continue the session where they left off, without restarting. The feature is increasingly common in Asian MMORPGs, but it remains relevant for games built around daily routines and scheduled events.
Endgame content revolves around two boss activities. In "Boss Conquest", several players team up to bring down a giant enemy. In "Boss Contest", two teams compete over the same target, adding the layer of indirect PvP that usually sustains guild economies in this genre. The official contents page also lists the Colosseum and the Astel system as pillars of progression.
Tokenomics: from Atra Coin to AtraX
The most visible difference between the two versions is the economy. The domestic release follows the traditional model; the global one adds a token system detailed on the official website. The loop starts in-game: matches and seasonal pass missions — the Atra Pass — generate points that feed the Atra Ranking. At the end of each season, ranking performance defines how much Atra Coin a player receives.
Atra Coin has two exits. It can be spent inside the game on exclusive items and mileage items, or converted into AtraX through a mint-and-burn mechanism with a minimum five-minute interval between operations. AtraX, in turn, circulates in the ONEChain ecosystem, the network associated with NEXUS. The seasonal distribution listed on the page is 10 million Atra Coin allocated to ranking rewards, with detailed tiers to be announced ahead of each season.
"Every moment of play opens a new path. Progress in Astellia 2 leads to new rewards and more ways to use them."
For players outside Korea, the practical reading is that the global version will demand attention to two calendars: the season, which sets the volume of rewards, and the token market, which can raise or lower the value of whatever has been accumulated. Models of this kind have already failed in other Korean titles, partly because converting playtime into a financial asset attracts speculators as well as players — and not always in the proportion the studio expects.
NEXUS, ONE Store and the distribution strategy
NEXUS is a South Korean company led by Jang Hyun-guk, the executive who ran Wemade during the expansion of the Wemix network. The firm, once called Action Square, adopted its current name in 2025 and has been assembling a group that combines development, blockchain and distribution. In September it announced the absorption of ONE Store as a wholly owned subsidiary, bringing the app marketplace, payment rails and on-chain infrastructure under one roof.
Astellia 2 is, in practice, the first major test of that integration. Beyond pre-registration, the ONE Store partnership includes two services: ONEquest, a reward-based quest platform that encourages in-game participation, and ONEwave, aimed at streamers with guide content and community activation. It is a machine that closes the loop between store, creator and game — and one that depends on critical mass to work.
"In a world of magic and destiny, your adventure becomes legend."
A franchise that has already been shut down twice
The history of Astellia helps explain why the announcement arrives with equal parts expectation and suspicion. The first game, developed by Studio 8 and published by Barunson E&A, reached the Korean market in late 2018 and the West in 2019, with a buy-to-play model outside Asia. The publisher walked away in 2020, handing the title back to the studio, and the Western service ended in October 2021.
In December 2022 the brand returned as Astel of Atra, a play-to-earn MMORPG with Astels tradable as NFTs on the Polygon network. The run was short: the servers went offline in February 2023. The new attempt, now with a "2" in the name and a different corporate structure, inherits the universe and the companion system but tries to distance itself from the crypto label — to the point of offering a domestic version without blockchain.
That split is the project's most important editorial decision. By keeping two separate economies, NEXUS tries to preserve the Korean audience, historically resistant to games that mix play and digital assets, without giving up the token model abroad. Success in one version does not guarantee the other, but failure in either tends to taint the whole.
What is still unknown before signing up
Three points remain open. The first is the release date: neither the statement nor the official site says when servers open, and system requirements appear as "coming soon" for Android, iOS and PC — Lepor Games says it will publish them after final optimization. The second is language support: the announcement mentions English, Thai and Indonesian, with no word on Portuguese. The official website, however, offers a Portuguese version, which suggests interest in the Brazilian market but does not confirm game localization.
The third is pricing. The Google Play listing points to in-app purchases, including random items, which places Astellia 2 on the same gacha shelf as competing mobile RPGs. In a genre where the perception of pay-to-win weighs heavily on community reviews, how NEXUS balances Astel summons and free progression will be decisive for its reception outside Korea.

What to watch from here
The first gauge will be the pace of sign-ups. The event's milestones go up to 1 million pre-registrations, an ambitious number for a title that has yet to show live gameplay at global scale. If the target is reached quickly, NEXUS will have grounds to announce the opening date loudly; if the counter stalls, the launch may be postponed to avoid repeating the emptying that marked the first Astellia's servers.
The second gauge is the reception to the token model. The tokenomics page is transparent about currency flow but does not state the initial value of AtraX or exchange listing rules — gaps that tend to fuel speculation in the first weeks. Players interested in seasonal rewards should follow the official channels before making any financial commitment.
For now, the message is simple: pre-registration is open, rewards are guaranteed for those who sign up, and the game has no start date. For anyone following PC and mobile MMORPGs, it is worth registering and watching the next announcements. More news from the genre can be found in the MMO section, the mobile games section and the releases page, as well as in the broader games coverage.
