Pokémon TCG Pocket gets three rare Mew cards Oct. 31

Three rare Mew variants are reported for TCG Pocket’s First Partners Special Pack, available Oct. 31–Dec. 26; individual drop rates have not been announced.

Three rare Mew cards from the physical Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration collection are expected to arrive in Pokémon TCG Pocket on October 31, according to reports by CBR and PokéBeach. In the app, they are set to be part of the First Partners Special Pack, which The Pokémon Company confirmed will run from October 31 through December 26. The company confirms the pack’s dates and rules; the inclusion of all three RGB Mew cards has been reported by specialist outlets.
What is officially confirmed about the pack
The official announcement describes First Partners Special Pack as a new feature for Pokémon TCG Pocket. It includes cards depicting the first partner Pokémon encountered across the franchise’s nine regions. The release also says each pack guarantees one ★ card and is opened with special pack stamina, which recovers once a week.
The same availability window — October 31 to December 26 — applies to the special pack. CBR and PokéBeach reported that it will include the three Mew variants associated with the anniversary collection. Separating the official announcement from the media report matters: the release confirms the product and its dates, but does not publish a complete card list.
“Each pack is guaranteed to contain one ★ card.”
The RGB variants move from the physical set
The three Mew cards are associated with the colors red, green, and blue, and belong to the 30th Celebration line of the physical trading card game. Their arrival in Pocket puts digital versions of the cards in a different setting: instead of coming from physical booster packs, they are expected to depend on the special pack and the app’s opening rules.
PokéBeach reports that the digital cards are not exact copies of their printed counterparts. According to the site, each Mew in Pocket has 10 more hit points than its physical equivalent, while the damage values of their attacks also differ. Those changes reflect the fact that the app uses its own rules and balance; players should not assume tabletop card values apply directly to a mobile match.
CBR also reports that the special pack will include 27 promo cards from the First Partner Illustration Collections. The company officially says the pack features first partner Pokémon from nine regions, but the promo count and the list naming all three Mew variants come from specialist reporting.
Availability dates and duration
First Partners Special Pack will be available from October 31 through December 26, 2026, according to The Pokémon Company International. The nearly two-month window does not mean the Mew cards will be available in every type of booster: reports tie them specifically to the special pack, which has its own stamina system.
The system also differs from regular packs. Special pack stamina recovers once a week, and every opening guarantees at least one ★ card. That is not a guarantee of Mew. The company has not published individual drop rates for the three cards, so there is no official basis for estimating how many openings a player will need or whether one variant will be harder to obtain than another.
December 26 is the practical deadline for anyone hoping to collect the cards during the initial run. The official announcement does not say whether the pack will return later. Availability after that date will depend on future announcements, so the current window should be treated as limited without assuming a rerun.
How this fits the 30th anniversary collection
The digital release comes during celebrations for 30 years of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The 30th Celebration line was created for the anniversary and includes special cards and physical products. Bringing cards associated with that collection into Pocket links the digital and tabletop release calendars, but it does not make the two formats interchangeable.
For collectors, the move adds another way to collect Mew inside the app. For players, the HP and damage changes reported by PokéBeach show that shared artwork does not mean identical stats. These are digital versions adapted to Pocket’s system, rather than simple copies of the physical cards.
It is also important to separate a card’s rarity in the physical set from its chance of appearing in a digital pack. The announcement guarantees one ★ card per opening, but does not say every ★ card has the same odds or that Mew is guaranteed. Without official rates, any numerical estimate should be treated as speculation.
What players should watch for
Before opening the app on October 31, players should check Pokémon TCG Pocket’s in-game notices and The Pokémon Company’s official updates. The release confirms the dates, stamina format, and one-star guarantee; CBR and PokéBeach provide the reporting about the RGB Mew cards and the 27 promos. If the app later publishes a full list or pull rates, that information will be more precise than third-party estimates.
