Wizards of the Coast has announced five Secret Lair collections inspired by Star Trek, with sales scheduled for November 9, 2026. Called Set Phasers to Superdrop, the release ties in with Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek and spans themes from The Original Series to Lower Decks. Each of the five drops will have a non-foil version priced at $29.99 and a foil version at $39.99; the company says a sixth collection will be revealed later.

The official page says the sale begins at 9 a.m. Pacific Time (noon Eastern) on MagicSecretLair.com. The pre-queue opens one hour earlier, at 8 a.m. PT. Joining the queue early does not reserve cards: placement is randomized among customers already in line when the sale starts, while later arrivals are placed in order of entry. A purchase is secured only after checkout is completed.

The listed prices are in U.S. dollars and apply to each drop, not to all five as a bundle. Wizards has not announced a discounted set price or specified country-by-country availability, taxes or international shipping in this post. It says orders above $99 ship free, subject to the store’s terms. Buyers outside the United States should check whether the store ships to their address and review the final total before paying.

New Worlds is a set of Star Trek basic lands

Secret Lair x Star Trek: New Worlds is the basic-land collection. It contains two copies of each of the five types: Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain and Forest. That makes ten cards, intended for players who want a franchise-themed look for a deck’s mana base. The announcement does not describe a unique mechanic for this drop; its emphasis is the selection of lands and their visual identity.

The five land types matter to deck construction because, in Magic, lands produce the resources needed to cast spells. With two of each type, the drop provides a balanced set rather than a collection of creatures or sorceries. Wizards lists only the names and quantities, so the announcement does not support claims that these lands have additional effects or different rules text.

Beam Me Up and tlhIngan maH reimagine existing cards

Beam Me Up includes four reversible cards: Eerie Interlude, retitled “Beam Us Up”; Momentary Blink; Essence Flux, presented as “Materialize”; and Conjurer’s Closet, renamed “The Transporter.” The selection connects the franchise’s transporter vocabulary with effects familiar to players. Wizards lists the cards and alternate names but does not announce rules changes; the post does not say the themed versions change how the cards function.

tlhIngan maH contains five reversible cards: Demand Answers, Relentless Assault, Seething Song, War’s Toll and Warstorm Surge. Its Klingon title and combat-focused selection give the drop an identity associated with the Klingons. That thematic connection should not be mistaken for a new game edition or a separate game: Wizards presents it as part of the Secret Lair line tied to the crossover.

KHAAAAAAAAN and Lower Decks round out the five

The KHAAAAAAAAN drop has six cards: Wrath of the Skies, renamed “Best Served Cold”; Commandeer; Illusionist’s Gambit, presented as “Reliant’s Betrayal”; Buried Alive; Genesis Wave; and Fracture. Its title nods to one of the franchise’s best-known lines, while the alternate names connect the cards to characters and episodes. As with the other collections, the official announcement does not describe rules changes for the listed cards.

Lower Decks completes the lineup with five cards reimagined around characters from the animated series: Inti, Seneschal of the Sun becomes “Mariner, Breaching Protocol”; Kambal, Profiteering Mayor appears as “Boimler, Citing Protocol”; Silas Renn, Seeker Adept is “Rutherford, Rebuilding the Past”; Thrasios, Triton Hero becomes “Tendi, Exploring the Future”; and Weatherlight is presented as “S.S. Cerritos, California-Class.”

Promotional card and shipping follow store terms

Alongside the five collections, Wizards plans to include a foil promotional card called “Transporter Boondoggle,” a foil Return of the Wildspeaker, for every $199.99 spent while supplies last. The announcement also mentions free shipping on orders above $99 and directs buyers to the store’s terms. These are commercial conditions stated on the U.S. page; the post does not explain how they apply to international orders or import taxes.

The October 27 announcement leaves one part of the release undecided: the sixth collection has not been revealed, and no date for that reveal appears in the post. The current lineup therefore covers five products and their individual prices, but not the complete Superdrop catalog.
