Cookie Run and Digital Circus: crossover in two games
Published on · Updated on
Devsisters launches a Cookie Run: Kingdom and Cookie Run: Crumble crossover with The Amazing Digital Circus, adding Pomni and Jax as special Cookies.

Devsisters launched the Cookie Run: Kingdom collaboration with The Amazing Digital Circus on Wednesday, Oct. 21, and expands the crossover to Cookie Run: Crumble on Thursday, Oct. 22. Kingdom's event runs through Nov. 18; Crumble's runs through Nov. 19. It is the first time the show's cast stars in an original in-game story and the animated series' first mobile game crossover, according to the South Korean developer.
The partnership turns Pomni, Jax, Caine, Ragatha, Gangle, Zooble and Kinger into Cookies, each with a dedicated visual treatment. The two titles take different approaches: Kingdom builds a new storyline around two playable characters and five guests, while Crumble releases the entire cast as special-grade units plus a Pet.
How the circus ended up in the Cookie Kingdom
Kingdom's story begins with a coding error. A glitch opens a portal, drags the circus tent and its inhabitants into the Cookie Kingdom and starts spreading digital distortions across the Cookie world. The Cookies join the crew to fight monsters, investigate the source of the anomaly and help the visitors return home.
The premise allows Devsisters to mix classic CookieRun monsters with the show's Gloinks in a campaign told through cutscenes. It follows crossovers with Wicked and KPop Demon Hunters, but this time with a narrative built from scratch rather than a simple skin overlay. The developer describes the event as the first original story written for the circus cast inside a game.
Pomni and Jax playable, five guests and an Abstracted raid
Pomni Cookie and Jax Cookie arrive as Special-grade playable Cookies, usable in World Exploration, Arena and Today's Bounties. The other five members of the troupe appear as Guest Cookies: Ragatha, Gangle, Zooble, Kinger and Caine roam the player's kingdom freely and do not enter combat.
Combat content includes a raid against an Abstracted Entity, a boss presented in a damage-meter format with Pomni and Jax at the center of the formation. The mode reuses the raid structure the community already knows, but swaps the usual bestiary for a creature taken directly from the series. The event also adds a quest line with combat stages against CookieRun monsters and Gloinks.
Cosmetics are part of the package. Pomni gets the Refreshing Beach Swimsuit costume and Jax receives the Elegant Maid Uniform, both Special-grade. Kingdom decorations include the Bread Box Stage landmark, the Choco Biscuit Exit, the Digital Triangle Cake Bar and Checkered Choco Tiles. For the MyCookie system, Devsisters prepared a Gummigoo-themed icing set.
Crumble brings the full cast and its own dungeon
Cookie Run: Crumble, the idle RPG that launched globally on July 30, 2026, takes a different route. All seven circus members arrive as Special-grade Cookies in two waves: Pomni, Caine, Ragatha and Kinger on Oct. 22, followed by Jax, Zooble and Gangle on Nov. 5. Bubble, Caine's assistant, joins as a Special-grade Pet that provides combat buffs or generates currency in the Pet Shelter.
The story throws the Choco-Drop Kingdom and the circus tent into disarray. Frustrated that his supposedly perfect world has been disrupted, Caine leads the Cookies, Pomni, Jax and Bubble on a mission to fix the dimensional glitch. The main mode is the Digital Circus Tent dungeon, with increasingly difficult stages against the show's NPCs and Crumble monsters; first clears and repeat runs both award collaboration currency, which can be traded for Cookies and items in the event shop.
Devsisters says the dungeon was tuned for newcomers, with a casual difficulty. A harder version, the Night Circus Tent, arrives on Nov. 5 alongside the second wave of Cookies. The choice fits Crumble's profile as a collectible auto-battler designed for short sessions and for players who may be entering the franchise for the first time.
What The Amazing Digital Circus is — and why the crossover fits
The Amazing Digital Circus is an animated dark comedy created by American animator and composer Gooseworx and produced by Australian studio Glitch Productions. It follows Pomni, a woman trapped inside a virtual circus with five other humans, as they navigate the whims of Caine, an artificial-intelligence ringmaster, and their own traumas.
The pilot debuted in October 2023 and became a phenomenon: according to Devsisters, the show's YouTube channel has surpassed 1.5 billion views and nearly 100 million hours watched on Netflix. It is dubbed in more than 15 languages and wrapped its first season with nine episodes in June 2026, as reported by Inven Global. Its independent, studio-free success is precisely what makes the partnership notable.
On the other side, the CookieRun franchise claims more than 300 million cumulative users and over 1.5 trillion won in revenue, according to Devsisters — the company also cites more than US$1 billion in lifetime revenue. Cookie Run: Kingdom, released in 2021, has passed 80 million players; Crumble is its newest bet on the idle genre. For the developer, joining both universes is a way to convert the show's young audience into players while giving its existing base a thematic event outside the usual roster.
"The Amazing Digital Circus, with its bold imagination, whimsical characters and passionate fandom, shares many things in common with Cookie Run. As the meeting of these two curiosity-filled worlds leads to a new joy of playing together, we hope players will enjoy it firsthand through Cookie Run: Kingdom and Cookie Run: Crumble."
"We've seen the incredible community that has grown around CookieRun, and we've always loved how passionate fans are about the worlds and characters they connect with. This collaboration will be a meaningful step to introduce The Amazing Digital Circus to new audiences while delivering fresh fun to fans of both IPs."
Dates, phases and what players should know
The schedule is staggered, so it is worth checking before spending resources. Kingdom's event is already live and ends on Nov. 18. In Crumble, the first wave of Cookies arrives on Oct. 22 and the second on Nov. 5, with the event running until Nov. 19.
| Game | Start | End | Highlights |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cookie Run: Kingdom | Oct. 21 | Nov. 18 | Pomni and Jax playable; five guests; Abstracted Entity raid; costumes and decorations |
| Cookie Run: Crumble (wave 1) | Oct. 22 | Nov. 19 | Pomni, Caine, Ragatha and Kinger; Bubble Pet; casual dungeon |
| Cookie Run: Crumble (wave 2) | Nov. 5 | Nov. 19 | Jax, Zooble and Gangle; Night Circus Tent |
Kingdom players should prioritize the raid and the event shop, since both playable Cookies are useful in Arena and World Exploration. In Crumble, the dungeon is the main source of collaboration currency, and the casual difficulty allows farming from day one. Both games are free on iOS and Android — Crumble is also available on PC through Google Play Games — so the barrier to entry is low.
What is still unknown
Devsisters has not detailed drop rates, pity costs or whether the special Cookies will return in future events. It also did not disclose the estimated length of Kingdom's story, the number of Crumble dungeon stages or whether extra content will follow after Nov. 19. The company only says more details will be published on the official channels of both games.
History suggests the crossover will follow the limited-event pattern: characters and items are available during the window and may not come back. For fans of The Amazing Digital Circus, the novelty is seeing the cast in an interactive format with a new script, something the series had not offered before. For Devsisters, it is another test of how the CookieRun franchise behaves when hosting outside properties — and a gauge for future partnerships with independent animation.
