Capcom confirms date: Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, with 7 DS-series games, hits all platforms in March 2026.

Capcom has announced the official date for Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection. The bundle arrives on modern platforms on March 27, 2026.
The collection will launch for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
Bundle contents: seven games and extras
The collection brings together all seven action-RPG titles from the Nintendo DS series. The games have been optimized for current consoles.
Players will get new quality-of-life features. The list includes a high-resolution filter for sharper graphics.
There is also a concept-art gallery and a music player featuring the original soundtrack.
Capcom reinforces its commitment to preserving its classics. The Star Force series is the spiritual successor to Mega Man Battle Network.
The games were originally released in the West between 2007 and 2009.
Full list of included games
- Mega Man Star Force: Leo, Dragon and Pegasus (released in 2006/2007)
- Mega Man Star Force 2: Zerker Ninja and Zerker Saurian (released in 2007/2008)
- Mega Man Star Force 3: Black Ace and Red Joker (released in 2008/2009)
Marketing strategy includes free anime
Capcom is also betting on nostalgia with the series anime. The first episode dubbed in English is available for free on YouTube.
The animated series ran for 55 episodes. It aired on Cartoon Network and Toonami Jetstream in 2007.
In Japan, it premiered in October 2006.
The move is seen as a smart way to engage audiences. The tactic appeals to fans who grew up with the series and to curious newcomers.
The anime serves as an introduction to the universe of hero Geo Stelar and his partner Omega-Xis.
The history of Mega Man in Brazil
In Brazil, the Mega Man franchise has built a solid fan base over the years. Many players had their first contact with the Blue Bomber on the NES or Super Nintendo.
The modern Legacy collections make these titles easier to access. Before, finding original Nintendo DS cartridges was difficult and expensive.
Now, a new generation can experience these classics for the first time.
The path was paved by the success of Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. That bundle launched in April 2023.
Its commercial performance showed Capcom there is demand for re-releases of classic series.
Why the announcement matters for today's market
In December 2025, announcements for the first half of the following year are key. They help build expectations in the gaming market.
For Brazilian fans, having a firm date helps plan spending. The first quarter of 2026 is taking shape.
The promise of seven games in a single bundle is a major draw for consumers.
The retro gaming market remains strong. Preserving and re-releasing classic titles is an established trend.
Capcom remains at the forefront of this movement with its various Legacy collections.
Technical details, price and language
Capcom has not yet revealed the final price in Brazilian Real (BRL). But there is a clear reference point: the previous Battle Network series collection.
The price is expected to land between R$ 200 and R$ 300.
The company has also not confirmed Portuguese dubbing or text. The most likely option is keeping the original languages.
The games should feature Japanese and English voice acting, plus English text.
The pre-order trailer is already circulating online. The video shows gameplay footage from the remastered versions.
The physical cover art has also been revealed. The design follows the visual line established by Capcom's other Legacy collections.
What the future holds for Capcom and Mega Man
This collection's launch marks an important cycle for the publisher. The company is systematically reevaluating all of its classic franchises.
Sales success will be decisive for the next steps. Franchises such as Mega Man X or Mega Man Zero could be next in line.
For the fan community, the news is a celebration. Seeing a beloved Nintendo Switch series come back to life in 2026 is quite a feat.
The wait until March will be long, but the reward looks worth it.
The responsibility now lies entirely with Capcom. The quality of the ports and bonus features will define the final reception.
The foundation, however, is already solid: seven acclaimed games that defined a generation.
