New Skycrest Update for Fisch on Roblox Revolutionizes Fishing with Mysterious Floating Island, Legendary Monster Hunt, and Powerful Amulets

The Fisch fishing phenomenon has received its biggest recent expansion on Roblox with the debut of the Skycrest update. The package adds a colossal floating island full of secrets, a brand-new reputation system, challenges from ancient gods, and the hunt for the colossal sea monster Abaia.

The Arrival of Skycrest and the Idol Favor Mechanic

The main attraction of the package is the floating island of Skycrest, launched as an expansion of the Fischfest festival. The location mixes permanent activities and limited-time rewards, structuring player progression through "Idol Favor" — a reputation bar exclusive to the region.

By leveling up this bar, the angler earns the right to equip the Crest Amulet, an accessory capable of carrying up to nine Charms (attribute amulets) simultaneously.

Obtaining these relics depends on challenges spread across seven Ancient Idol statues: Hayate, Ebisu, Fudo, Nagomi, Goriki, Shunsoku, and Amanojaku. As fish are caught in the vicinity of Skycrest, the amulets evolve and grant progressive improvements to luck, line control, resilience, maximum weight supported, hook speed, and catch bar progression.

Players who face the extreme weather events Tropical Squall and Raging Squall (violent tropical storms) unlock the coveted Titanic Charm and Flash Charm.

Crystal Hunt and the Confrontation with Abaia

The map's narrative advances with the questline of the Keeper of the Sky. The goal is to locate 10 Celestial Crystals scattered across the classic islands of Moosewood, Terrapin Island, Roslit Bay, and Snowcap Island to restore the Chamber of Abaia. Successfully inserting each crystal requires specific Idol Favor levels.

The progression culminates in the ritual at the Fire of Spirits. During a tropical storm, players must burn caught fish to amplify the ritual flame, which increases the weather appearance rate and multiplies the server's luck.

Continuous sacrifice awakens the Hunt of Abaia: a colossal creature that must be pursued through underground lagoons to have its shields drained before the final confrontation, where the group must dodge deadly bite attacks inside the sealed chamber.

Expanded Arsenal, Taiga Pet, and Promo Code

The update also introduced five new high-level fishing rods, a Harpoon Gun, and a combat spear. On the collectible front, the Crested Relic and Empyrean Relic appear, along with additional species to complete the bestiary before the official end of Fischfest.

Among the utility additions, players can collect four nighttime variants of fireflies (Firefly, Loopy Five, Blue Ghost, and Gombak Bent-Winged) to serve as premium bait or to tame the Idol Taiga pet. Once tamed during tropical storms, the Idol Taiga automatically fishes with a harpoon, amplifies the effect of amulets, generates extra Idol Favor points, and automatically sacrifices low-rarity fish at the pyre.
