Team Enthusiasm Sets the Tone at Otakon 2026
The production team’s energy got fans fired up at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Yomiuri TV producer Goshi Yoshida, overseeing the adaptation, made a triumphant entrance that set the tone for the presentation.
The crew screened a special promotional video made exclusively for the event. The footage highlighted the dedication of producers Keita Yoshinobu and Goshi Yoshida in maintaining a healthy production schedule without compromising the visual quality of Miya Kazuki’s original work.
Switch to WIT Studio Raises the Visual Bar
The third arc of the franchise marks a historic production shift, with animation moving from Studio Ajia-do to WIT Studio. Globally renowned for major Japanese anime hits, the new studio took on the challenge under director Yoshiaki Iwasaki, with character designs by Aiko Minowa.
The studio switch reflects the narrative’s own expansion. Starting with this arc, the protagonist leaves behind her life in the lower city and takes on the identity of Rozemyne, an archduke’s adopted daughter, demanding superior technical finesse in depicting nobility and magical battles.
Rozemyne’s Journey and Noble Intrigues
The story follows the reincarnation of Urano Motosu as Myne, a frail girl in a medieval world where books are luxury goods reserved for the elite. Driven by an obsessive love of reading, she revolutionizes paper production and catches the aristocracy’s attention due to her immense magical power.
